Normally I write about my own baby on this blog, but today I'm going to mention another baby. An elephant was born at the Oklahoma City Zoo on Saturday, and for me, it was the end of a three-year project covering the elephants.

Lucky you. I just had to cover the death of our zoo's 60-year-old (!!!) elephant. Would much rather be on your side of the story.
