Elephun

Finally - finally! - we got to go out to the zoo with our friends the Dupuys. Kelli and I enjoy sharing fun zoo trivia; it spares our husbands from having to listen and pretend interested. That's us inside the zoo museum. Party at the Monkey Island replica! We've held off visiting the elephant exhibit until we could go with them, and it was fun seeing it together. (I cover the zoo for work, and in particular I've been covering the zoo's elephants for about three years now.) Mia is getting old enough to actually enjoy looking at the animals. How weird they must look to her. All she probably knows is us and the dogs. She must think the elephants are like really, really, really big dogs.
