We finally made the big decision. Kelli and Tre Dupuy will be Mia's guardians in case something happens to us. We asked them and - thankfully! - they said yes! And Kelli took a picture. Of course.This decision is something we've been wrestling with since before Mia was born. There are so many factors to consider, and we are so lucky because we have a wealth of wonderful people in our lives. That's why we've been so wishy-washy and haven't made a firm decision. So why make the decision now? Well, it was the subject of an episode of Modern Family. Then, the next night, a friend of mine who is an attorney asked if Leigh and I had made a will. We don't have a will because we couldn't decide who would take care of Mia.
It was decision time. We feel so relieved that this has been decided, and we are so happy that the Dupuys have said yes.
What a heavy responsibility to carry out. I mean, for you. Who do you choose? Who do you choose? Dusty and I have not talked about it at all. We love our friends but the only ones stable enough already have 2 godchildren so maybe it comes down to his parents?
