Mr. Fuzzlesworth

Mia has made it very clear to us that she will do the puppeteering of Mr. Fuzzlesworth. No one else.

It's hip to snip

Mia was starting to look like a hippie, so we decided to finally take her to get her first haircut.
It was exciting because Nancy and Grandpa Doug were in town to witness this monumental occasion of cuteness. Mia did so well! She sat on my lap while Leigh took pictures. She was so still and so good. She never cried. She just acted like people normally come at her head with scissors. We are so lucky.

I have to admit: I was a little weirded out by her hair right after the haircut. She kind of looked like Moe from the Three Stooges. But after she had times to mess with it, her hair went right back to the little curls she normally has. Phew.

Guess who won?

Not me. It was a bowling tournament.

Some friends and I participated in the Central Oklahoma Parrothead Association's annual bowling tournament. We were local media celebrities, which is an overstatement for sure. It was Jenni Carlson, Ubaldo Martinez and me, plus our friend Carrie Dean, who got to be a media representative just because she's great. It was so much fun! Jenni ended up winning, but Ubaldo was close behind. I, however, was not. I was in a league of my own, scoring in the double digits. Sad.

Goooooaaaaal!

What is that? Oh, it's a Mia Hamm jersey! Finally! She's retired, so it's hard to find her jersey any more. But we came across one at the closeout sale at Leigh's' soccer facility. So now our Mia can be like the Mia who's the greatest goal scorer of all time. Now we just have to wait, like, 10 years for her to grow into this shirt.
