Simko comes to town

Our pal, Ryan Simko, visited Oklahoma City! Hooray! In case you don't know Simko, he happens to be extremely awesome. He lived here a couple years ago and even though he moved away, we still are good friends. He came to our wedding! Here are two pictures. The first of Tanya, Simko, Jesse, The Captain and Clay. The second is of Simko and Leigh doing what they do best: drinking beer and getting in trouble.

He came to visit this weekend to see his girlfriend and all his Oklahoma City pals. We met up with him at Cuppies and Joe, though we had to leave a little earlier than planned because of an, um, "incident" involving diaper failure. It meant so much to us that wanted to meet Mia. He is a great friend! We met up with him later at Club Rodeo. (We got there as Simko and his pals were leaving, so we just said bye in the parking lot.)

Chicken and lights!

Saturday night we made our second annual trip out to Eischen's Chicken and the Kingfisher in Lights display. (For the out-of-town folks, here's what I wrote last year about Eischen's. It's epic chicken, people!) Hooray for Alison for organizing again! Of course we had to take pictures on the beautiful bridge:

We learned two valuable lessons on our trip: Eischen's frito pie is good and Sonic does not sell hot chocolate. This year, unfortunately, the Johns weren't with us so Sutter could say, "Merry Christmas - get the f*** away!"
