Alison is still on maternity leave, so I decided to hop on over and visit her and wee little Edgar without the assistance of Mia. First and foremost, Alison was born to be a mother. Holy moly. She's the best. Secondly, Edgar is so teeny tiny. It's amazing to see him and think that Mia was that small. Was she that small? Was she such a little baby like that once? She was. She's gotten so big so quickly. People always say that it happens like that, but you don't realize how fast everything is. So it's nice to see good friends like Alison and hold miniature munchkins like Edgar.

Goodbye to Angi and Dante
Two of our friends, Angi and Dante, are leaving Oklahoma City and heading home to Ohio. We went to their lovely goodbye party. Of course, we took zero photos with them but a million photos with their daughter, Olivia. Story of our lives, Angi and Danta. Story of our lives. Here are some photos from the party, none of which include the two adults who are moving.

Chicken and lights!
Saturday night we made our second annual trip out to Eischen's Chicken and the Kingfisher in Lights display. (For the out-of-town folks, here's what I wrote last year about Eischen's. It's epic chicken, people!) Hooray for Alison for organizing again! Of course we had to take pictures on the beautiful bridge:

Soup and Smores

Our pals - Jenni Carlson Reaves and Ryan Reaves - hosted their super fun soup and smores party. (Thank you, Alison Lowe, for the fabulous photos!) We took Mia with and she had a great time hanging out with all kinds of people. She didn't cry or get fussy, but she did need a wardrobe change midway through. That's when we discovered not only did we not bring diapers, but we also forgot to bring a onesie. We had a jumper, pajamas and a pair of pants. This does not an outfit make. So she had to go sans onesie and leave on the pants and sweater. She was like a flasher in a trench coat, but she's still not coordinated enough to unbutton her shirt and flash. Thank god.
