Hot and hot dogs

It's the weekend, so what do we do? The zoo. You better believe it. We had a great time with a bunch of our friends. We also got to meet our friend Kelli's little sis, Lily! She was an absolutely delight.


We also got to meet our friend Michelle's daughter, and Leigh and Mia got to meet Michelle's son. It was sickeningly adorable.

Apparently we were so excited to get to the zoo with everyone, we forgot to bring, like, everything. We forgot sunscreen for Mia, the umbrella for the stroller, Mia's hat and our zoo membership card. It was a hot, sunny day, so we picked up some stuff in the gift shop, including this fabulous hat that Sandra modeled for us.

I tried to take a photo of Leigh and Mia sitting together on South Africa on the world map at the front of the zoo. This is how well that went:

After the zoo we went to Mutt's Amazing Hot Dog, a new place in town. Let me tell you: this place is appropriately named. We all ate some delicious hot dogs.
