Mia made a visit to her awesome doctor today.
Good news: She's up to 8 pounds, 12 ounces. That puts her in the 10th percentile for her age, up from the bottom 5th percentile. Wahoo for weight gain!
Bad news: She has colic. The inconsolable crying is explained. Turns out, those gas drops don't do any good, our doctor said. I bought some the other day and thought maybe they weren't helping, so it was good to have confirmation. No more yucky stuff or Mia. I'm dropping dairy to see if that helps.
Other news: Our doctor's office got 500 doses of swine flu shots. We can make an appointment to get the shot at the beginning of next week. Health officials in Oklahoma are just now allowing parents of infants to get the shot, too. We were going to have to wait in those big long lines for the health department shots, but now we can just get it at our doctor's office.
