Saturday in Big D

We cashed in our Christmas present from my dad and Nancy this weekend and took a trip to Dallas. The main reason we went was to see the Green Day musical, which was, by the way, super fantasticly amazing. Here we are outside the opera house, looking fancy:

Aside from that, we spent Saturday tooling around Dallas with Mia.

We also made a stop at the Dallas World Aquarium, which, by the way, was super fantastically amazing as well. It was a four-story wonderland, like a zoo that was vertical instead of horizontal. You saw monkeys swinging in the trees, otters swimming around and all the beautiful fish down below. It was really incredible.

This little guy looked like he was wearing bright yellow socks and mittens. It. Was. Adorable.

This marmoset obviously thought something was hilarious.

Mia had the chance to feed a toucan! It was so neat! The worker put a little food on her hand, and the bird fluttered right up and grabbed it. I was so proud of Mia for not being afraid.

And we saw a sloth, which was, clearly, easy to photograph. No sports mode needed for this guy.

There was even a South Africa section, complete with penguins. I snapped this picture of a hornbill and a super creepy dassie in the background.

The last bit of the museum was an underwater tunnel with creepy sharks that look even creepier from below.
