Goodbye, green

It's time for a shake-up at our house, and that means we're saying goodbye to our green living room. The idea at the time was to have sort of a Caribbean-inspired, tropical green with white furniture. Then we'd feel like we lived on an island. (No offense, Oklahoma. We like you, too.) But we're kind of over that, so we're trading in the green for white and slate grey. My mom is in town, and so we're working like crazy while Mia is at school and we can get things done without her "helping." And guess who - oh my god, it's me! - hung a chair rail? Me. It's a work in progress, but here's our living room as it's changing.
