It's hip to snip

Mia was starting to look like a hippie, so we decided to finally take her to get her first haircut.
It was exciting because Nancy and Grandpa Doug were in town to witness this monumental occasion of cuteness. Mia did so well! She sat on my lap while Leigh took pictures. She was so still and so good. She never cried. She just acted like people normally come at her head with scissors. We are so lucky.

I have to admit: I was a little weirded out by her hair right after the haircut. She kind of looked like Moe from the Three Stooges. But after she had times to mess with it, her hair went right back to the little curls she normally has. Phew.
